Port Lincoln Golf Report

Tuesday 18th November

9 Hole Twilight

Steven Forstner had a nifty afternoon taking out the competition with 19 points followed by Brett Davies only a swing away on 18 points.

Men's Stableford 

In A Grade Kris Bunder cooked up some points with a delicious 40 points. Runner up Mark Butt served the entree with a tasty 38 points.

In B Grade we had a count back that saw Ciaran Sheehy beat out Andrew Puglisi, both players scoring a ripper 38 points.

In C Grade Robert Fox takes out the top spot with a neat 34 points followed by David Norman who sneaks in with 33 points.

Thursday 20th November

Women's Stroke

Cynthia Thompson's swing was simply the best as she sings her way to victory with a roaring nett 68. Runner up with a cracking day out of nett 69 was Jo Higgins.

Mixed Stableford and Foursomes/Mixed Foursomes

From a wet and wild morning to a bright sunny afternoon, there was alls sorts happening weather wise and golf wise as there was a classic stable ford round as well as Foursome event on the same day. Plenty of action and plenty of amazing scores.

In the Stableford Grant Heidenreich tamed the course with a commanding 38 points followed by Bill Bascomb who scoops up the silver with a clever 37 points.

Mixed Foursome winners were Kay Freeth and Lindsay Gordon with a tidy nett 72.5 while Jason Verhees and Cindy Carr come in second place with a gritty nett 75.

Foursomes winners were Daniel Brown and Josh Hausler who teamed up for a super round of nett 68.5 followed by Tom George and Dave Krollig who end their day with a respectful nett 72.5.
