PORT LINCOLN GOLF CLUB INC.

Est 1915

Port Lincoln Golf Club was originally established on the outskirts of Port Lincoln in 1915.

The club and the accompanying course has seen many developments throughout its 100+ year history thanks to many contributing staff and volunteers.

The clubhouse contains a bar, toilets and showers, along with a bistro area and kitchen.

The course contains 18 fully maintained grass greens, watered fairways, and tees with bordering eucalyptus and pine trees, along with bunkers on multiple holes.

COVID-19 UPDATE

Management Committee has made the decision to recommence competitions with the following arrangements.

Sundays

- Take a social card.

- Place money in slot (without envelope).

- Once round has been completed, leave your card in the box to be processed by Match Committee.

Mondays

- Liz will enter particiapnt into competition.

- Place money in slot (without envelope).

- Once round has been completed, leave your card in the box to be processed by Match Committee.

Wednesdays & Saturdays

- Times for competition will take place between 10am and 1pm.

- Competition fees will be paid as usual.

- The starter will print out cards as required and send players off in groups of 2.

- In the event of there being 1 person left out at the end of competition commencement, a group of 3 will be allowed.

- At the end of the round, players will leave cards and results will be processed by Match Committee.

Thursdays

- Times for competition will take place between 9am and 10:30am.

- Competition fees will be paid as usual.

- The starter will print out cards as required and send players off in groups of 2.

- In the event of there being 1 person left out at the end of competition commencement, a group of 3 will be allowed.

- At the end of the round, players will leave cards and results will be processed by Match Committee.

Social Golf

- Will still be allowed, strictly limited to 2 people per group.

- Only allowed on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Modified Rules to be Strictly Adhered to

- The flag stick cannot be removed from the hole.

- If you hit your ball into the bunker, once you have hit your shot, the player is required to smooth the divot over with their club or foot.

 

The clubhouse will only be used to collect cards, pay fees and leave cards after the round. It will not be a place to congregate.
