Sunday 18th Feb
Mixed Stableford
James Fuss sneaks in a victory as he beats out Josh Hausler on a countback, both finishing with a solid round of 38 points each.
Wednesday 21st Feb
Men's Stableford - Sponsored by Lincoln Glass and Aluminium
In A Grade Tyson Dodd sits on top of the leaderboard with a cracking round of 41 points. Michael Freeman only one putt away with 40 points.
In B Grade the winner was Steven Thompson shooting a round of 37 points. Runner up with a tidy 36 points was Greg Hughes.
In C Grade David Norman beats Ian Sellen on a countback, both finishing the day with 37 points.
Thursday 22nd Feb
Women’s Stableford - Sponsored by Boat Supplies
Winning the day with a terrific score of 38 points was Gail Watherston. Runner up with a neat round of her own was Cynthia Thompson with 35 points.
Saturday 24th Feb
Women's Stroke
Continuing her good form is Cynthia Thompson taking out the top spot with Nett 72. One off the pace was Cindy Carr with a handy round of Nett 73.
Men's Monthly Medal - Sponsored by Lincoln Glass and Aluminium
In A Grade Scott Lombe lit up the course taking out the monthly medal and Nett with a score of 71 (Nett 65). Runner up with a nifty round of his own was Taylor Ford finishing on Nett 68.
In B Grade Luke Murray was having a grand old time winning the grade with a score of 81 (Nett 68). Phil Lessue snuck in for second place with a brilliant round of Nett 69.
In C Grade winner of gross was Brenton George with a super round of 90 (Nett 69). Runner up with Nett 71 was the always keen Stephen Rees.
The Port Lincoln Golf Club is holding Women's Come and Try golf clinics on March 3rd, 10th and 17th on Sundays for interested players. No experience necessary and all equipment can be provided. Bring a friend, make new friends and enjoy the wonderful world of golf.
