Course Info

Port Lincoln Golf Course

The course offers sweeping views of the surrounding countryside from the clubhouse and many visitors comment on the breathtaking vistas, especially when the canola crops are in full bloom and the nearby Little Swamp is brimming with water.

The Par 72 layout is challenging for experienced golfers but not too intimidating for newcomers. Visitors are often impressed with our layout which has very short walks to the next tee and offers a good variety of holes, green shapes and sizes. The course is fully irrigated and boasts excellent playing conditions year round. Our Bent grass greens are regarded as some of the best outside of metropolitan Adelaide. Our fairways are predominately Couch and Kikuyu and offer very good lies which will aid approach shots into our fair but challenging greens.

Our course has 11 bunkers which are just enough to create drama on a handful of holes without making our course a trip to the beach! A large irrigation dam on the 18th has been known to capture balls from holes 10, 17 and 18 but these are wayward shots with no water carries present on the course. Cart paths are being developed and will eventually be provided on our longer carries from tee to fairway.

The course length is 5805 metres for men and 5310 for women.

Drinking Water

Drinking water is available in the form of rainwater on the shared tees at holes 5, 8 & 12 and from a fountain near the 18th whilst mains water taps are provided on holes 7 and 13.

Gazebo

The gazebo on the shared tees at holes 5, 8 & 12 is perfect for fundraisers and any group events as it hosts a BBQ and seating with enough room to setup eskies and tables.
